MA Healthcare expands global reach

MA Healthcare has announced a new Journal Home partnership with ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers with over 25 million members worldwide.

This partnership is designed to expand the reach, readership, and authorship of MA Healthcare journals internationally, by integrating full-text content from 10 of its leading subscription and hybrid journals directly into the ResearchGate platform.

The participating journals span a wide spectrum of healthcare fields from general and specialist nursing to dental practice, community healthcare, palliative care, and rehabilitation. They include the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing, the British Journal of Community Nursing, the British Journal of Healthcare Management, the British Journal of Midwifery, the British Journal of Nursing, Dental Update, the International Journal of Palliative Nursing, the International Journal of Therapy and Rehabilitation, the Journal of Paramedic Practice, the Journal of Wound Care.

These titles will benefit from the Journal Home offering in the following ways:

  • Seamless visibility: All full-text content will be delivered directly on ResearchGate, maximising discoverability through targeted distribution to researchers in relevant fields.
  • Stronger author engagement: Article usage metrics and automatic updates to author profiles support researchers in tracking their impact and connecting with readers.
  • Branded presence: Each journal gains a dedicated profile page and visible branding on article content, enhancing recognition and trust.
  • International growth: The integration allows MA Healthcare journals to engage with new authors at various stages of the publishing process and grow submissions across a wider global audience.
