Recruitment Sales Executive, Nursery World

The Position

You will be working on Nursery World which is the UK's leading publication for those working in the early years education and childcare sector.

Duties include:

  • Develop strong relationships with clients to retain and grow business, incorporating new and innovative advertising and marketing strategies.
  • Take ownership of Nursery World’s recruitment revenues, supported by the sales manager.
  • Help grow and evolve Nursery World to provide wider recruitment services including employer branding opportunities.
  • Stay on top of trends in the recruitment industry as well as developments across early years.
  • This role will be office/ home-based with the idea that you will work with the sales manager to gradually progress and grow your career. This will include conducting external/ Zoom meetings and handling our key clients.


The Candidate

  1. Will have some prior experience in sales and must be comfortable with cold calling.
  2. Show initiative and high organisational abilities in maintaining transparent progress records.
  3. Be a confident, self-motivated individual who can take a consultative approach to sales.
  4. Will be resilient, driven and determined.
  5. Will be well presented and have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, as the role will involve liaising with clients on the telephone, by email, and face-to-face (virtually where appropriate). Being confident with cold calling will also be desirable.
