Recruitment Sales Executive – Nursery World

We are seeking to appoint a Recruitment Sales Executive to work across the iconic Nursery World brand. Having launched in 1925, Nursery World is the UK's leading magazine and website for practitioners and decision makers working in the early years education and childcare sector.

Nursery World is part of MA Education, which publishes specialist magazines and websites and produces a growing number of conferences and exhibitions for professionals working in early years, primary and secondary education, children’s services and social work. 

In this role, you will be selling recruitment advertising space across our online jobsboard and fortnightly magazine as well as employer branding opportunities. This is a target-based role which requires strong selling skills and the ability to use marketing strategies to develop business.

The role offers a good basic salary and scope for earning uncapped commission; based in a superb office in south London.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients to implement new advertising strategies
  • Identify potential new clients and using sales techniques to win new business which will involve calling potential clients and introducing our services
  • Keep up to date with developments in the marketplace
  • Hit and exceed targets to maximise revenue
  • Show initiative and high organisational abilities in maintaining transparent records of progress

This role will progress to include face-to-face meetings, as well as handling some of our key clients and biggest spenders. We are looking for a confident, self-motivated individual who can take a creative approach to sales.

Applicants must be well presented and have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, as the role will involve liaising with clients on the telephone, by email, and face-to-face.
