Events Assistant - MA Business
An opportunity to join the MA Business events team
With the company looking to expand the number of events within the MA Business portfolio, we are looking to expand our events team.
You’ll need to be flexible and process driven with good IT skills. Events are hard work but good fun too!
Prepare and print delegate badges, place cards and organise any event kit required to take to events.
Compile delegate packs prior to events.
Circulate exhibitor manuals, sponsors information and delegate information for each event.
Chase content including but not limited to, presentations for events, profiles and logos for websites, speaker biographies, webinar content and pictures and show guide listings.
Processing invoices using CRM system (Gemstone).
Email marketing – assist in formatting HTML, setting up of email campaigns and sending emails via Adestra.
Update copy on event websites.
Assist in webinar rehearsals and live delivery as required.
Support Event & Marketing Co-ordinator.
Attend events as required (UK based)
Good standard of written English
Attention to detail
Flexible with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Willingness to learn
Excellent telephone manner
Understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
