Wound Expo a huge success

Wound Expo, MA Healthcare's innovative new wound care event, took place on 16–17 September 2009. Held at the spectacular Manchester Central Convention Complex, the event played host to over 800 nurses from across the country.

 

Wound Expo is designed to offer affordable training in the fundamentals of wound care to nurses and other health professionals working in environments where they deal with chronic wounds on a regular basis - nursing homes, general practice, hospitals wards and in the community. Combined with a large exhibition, Wound Expo 2009 provided nurses who might otherwise have difficulty accessing regular training the opportunity to learn in an interactive, participatory environment, as well as meeting companies and learning about their products.

 

Feedback on the event was extremely positive, with most visitors planning to attend again in 2010. Details of the 2010 event, which will be taking place at the Business Design Centre in London, are available now on the Wound Expo website.
