Tuesday, March 2nd marks a very special occasion. In the first event of its kind for MA Healthcare, the Journal of Wound Care is hosting an evening lecture in London by two leading researchers in the field of wound biofilms, which will be webcast live around the world.
The lecture, 'Biofilms and their management: implications for the future of wound care' will be presented by Dr. Randall Wolcott and Dr Scot Dowd, and is supported by ConvaTec.
Dr Wolcott is Medical Director of the Southwest Regional Wound Care Center, and Dr Dowd is Director of Medical Biofilm Research, Research and Testing Laboratory, both based in Lubbock, Texas. Their research is changing our understanding of chronic wounds and opening up new approaches to their management, and much of it has been published in Journal of Wound Care.
Editor of Journal of Wound Care, Tracy Cowan, said "Journal of Wound Care has been fortunate to publish a great deal of work by Randy and Scot in the last couple of years, and it is a real honour to have them present the inaugural JWC lecture."
The Lecture will take place at 7pm on March 2nd at Le Meridien hotel, Piccadilly, London. For more details, visit MA Healthcare Conferences or register for the webcast.
